Arsenal to announce FIRST signing tomorrow

Legia Warsaw have today confirmed that young Krystian Bielik is on his way to London for an Arsenal medical ahead of his move to the Emirates.
Bielik was chased by many clubs including Hamburg however Arsenal managed to agree a deal, with help from their main negotiator Dick Law.
On Legia’s official website and Twitter account that the midfielder will undergo a medical at Arsenal tomorrow, completing the deal with the club.
Arsenal legend Alan Smith has weighed in on this signing of the Legia Warsaw wonder kid. Smith does not anticipate Bielik having an immediate effect on the Arsenal team, and expects him to be a name for the future:

"It's a classic Arsene Wenger signing, he's one for the future," the former Arsenal forward told Sky Sports.

He went on to say that perhaps his age may play a major factor with what he can bring the club straight away:

"He's a big lad, over six foot tall and a defensive midfielder, the kind the team needs, but he is 17 years of age.”

"He is not going to slot into a Premier League team straight away.”
"So again you are looking at a year or two ahead when he could possibly have an impact, so probably not going to have much of an impact not this campaign."

Smith is probably saying what is on every Arsenal fans’ mind when he says he is just too young to contribute to Arsenal now, which is probably true. I still think it is a decent signing for the club, granted he is young but looks to be a good player and will be good for Arsenal in the years to come.

I have no problem with Wenger signing prospects as long as he signs the players we need now to go along with the prospects, something which he does not do often enough I’m afraid.
