Department liaisons can manage the E-directory listings for their department's employees. E-Directory and Information Sharing System project is a web based application which is implemented in ASP .NET C# platform.

INTERFACE DESIGN
Main Menu
The main menu of this project carries a high level design interface developed with Microsoft visual studio, being a web base application; it is made of more than one interface with other procedure that brings about the full functionality of the application.
  1. Login Menu
This menu enables the admin to login into the admin panel.
  1. Staff Directory
This menu allows the user to view staff directory
  1. Faculty Directory
This menu allows the user to view faculty directory
  1. Administrator Menu
This menu houses the change password and forgot password menu items
PROGRAM SPECIFICATION
These are the major modules the system is made up of.
  1. Administrative Module
Administrative module is provided for the sake of administrators to manage the site and update the content at regular intervals, the major operations included in this module are:
  1. New admin account
  2. Add staff directory
  3. Department Directory
  4. Faculty Directory
  5. View Reports.
User Module
This module is meant for user, the major operations included in this module were:
  1. Search Staff Directory
  2. Search Department Directory
  3. Search Faculty
INPUT/OUTPUT SPECIFICATION
  1. Output Specification And Design
Output from the system is in form of documents. Majority of the outputs caries information relating to e-directory system, the outputs are presented in a text format and some of the information derived from the database.

The program designed involved some input forms in order to achieve or derived some required outputs.
