5 Reasons Why Arsenal Will Beat QPR Plus Predicted Starting Line Up

Tomorrow is Boxing day, and as well a match day in the Barclay’s Premier League. Arsenal will be in action tomorrow against newly promoted side Qpr. The importance of us getting the necessary three point cannot be over emphasized as our team has made a mix start to the season following constant injury plagues that hit the squad.

All that said, we really need to get the maximum points from the match as we cannot afford to drop more points against lower teams in the League. Below are five important reasons as to why Arsenal should not lose to Qpr tomorrow.

Arsenal need a win tomorrow to get closer to the top four, a place we have since occupied since time memorial. This reason is most important as Arsenal cannot afford to slip out of the top four as well as potentially miss Europe’s top elite club competition the Uefa Champions League. As the race for the Premier League title seems all and over for Arsenal this season, a top four finish should be their main priority in the league this season.

Secondly, Arsenal desperately needs a win so as to boost the confidence and self believe in the team. Confidence in the team which has not been constant is a major factor as to why Arsenal are where they are. Arsenal haven’t gotten that belief this season, and Arsenal being a team that thrives on confidence really needs to up their game if they are to clinch a top four spot.

Another notable reason is the impressive records we have made this season. Even with our current blip in form, Arsenal have won 10 out of 10 home matches and they wouldn’t be really willing to put a blemish to that record tomorrow.

Also Arsene Wenger have not lost a derby match to Harry Redknapp and he will not be a happy figure if that record is thrown away tomorrow. Records are meant to be broken, but ironically not in this match. Arsenal must win this come tomorrow or else the consequences could be disastrous
Finally, an important reason why Arsene Wenger’s men should not be defeated is that they need to give Arsene Wenger a perfect Christmas gift and they can’t do that better by giving him a landslide victory tomorrow.

A Six cheeky Reason is that tomorrow is my birthday and I need the boys to give me a birthday gift by winning. Ideally by 4-0 but any win will do.

In the build up to tomorrow’s game, we take a look at likely predicted starting X1 for Arsenal and those missing out. Arsenal will welcome back playmaker Tomas Rosicky and goalkeeper David Ospina for the Boxing Day clash with QPR at the Emirates Stadium after they recovered from thigh problems. Laurent Koscielny (calf) and Aaron Ramsey (hamstring) will miss out against Harry Redknapp’s side, but could return in the upcoming games against West Ham or Southampton.

Mikel Arteta (calf), Mesut Ozil (knee), Abou Diaby (calf), Jack Wilshere (ankle) and Serge Gnabry (knee) are sidelined.

All that said, the obvious choice in between the sticks is Szczeny. The pole who have been impressive this season is expected to start. In defence, i expect the back four similar to that of the Liverpool’s game. With Debuchy, Mertesacker, Chambers and Gibbs starting as Koscielny who continues to recuperate nears full fitness. In the middle of the pack i would expect to see Flamini, Carzola and Chamberlain anchoring the midfield as Arteta, Wilshere and Ramsey misses out due to injury.
Meanwhile in attack, Sanchez, Giroud and Welbeck are expected to start admist calls to drop Sanchez as he has been over used week in week out.
