CDCFIB Recruitment Portal Opens for Shortlisted Candidates as Physical Screening Begins
The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has officially opened its recruitment portal for candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) conducted in November 2025. The development marks the commencement of the next phase of the 2024/2025 recruitment exercise for four major paramilitary agencies in Nigeria.
According to information released by the Board, applicants are expected to visit the recruitment portal between June 15 and June 20, 2026, to verify their recruitment status and determine whether they have been shortlisted for the physical screening and document verification stage.
The ongoing recruitment exercise covers positions in the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nigerian Immigration Service (NIS), the Nigerian Correctional Service (NCoS), and the Federal Fire Service (FFS). Candidates who successfully completed the CBT are advised to check the portal promptly and follow all instructions provided.
Shortlisted applicants will be required to complete additional verification procedures, upload relevant credentials where necessary, and prepare for physical screening at designated centres. The Board urged candidates to carefully review all requirements to avoid disqualification during the screening process.
The announcement has generated significant interest among thousands of applicants who have been awaiting updates since the completion of the aptitude test. Many candidates are expected to begin checking their status immediately as the verification window is only open for a limited period.
CDCFIB also reiterated that the recruitment exercise remains completely free and warned applicants against fraudsters demanding money in exchange for employment offers, shortlist placements, or screening assistance. Candidates are encouraged to rely only on official communication channels and avoid unofficial websites or social media claims.
Applicants who participated in the recruitment exercise are strongly advised to verify their status as early as possible and complete any required actions before the deadline to avoid missing the opportunity to proceed to the final stages of the recruitment process.
